New Remote RN Position, Salary 18-25k, 9-Hour Shifts on Alternating Weeks

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize cross-platform mobile applications using React Native and Expo, supporting both iOS and Android.
• Implement core functionalities, including user interface, data presentation, user interactions, and business logic.
• Collaborate with the backend team to integrate RESTful APIs or GraphQL for data interaction and synchronization.
• Utilize Expo toolchain (such as Expo CLI, Expo SDK) to accelerate development, debugging, and deployment processes.
• Optimize application performance, ensuring fast loading times, low latency, and a smooth user experience.
• Write high-quality, maintainable code, adhere to coding standards, and conduct unit testing and end-to-end testing.
• Work with designers and product managers to ensure high-fidelity UI/UX designs are implemented on mobile.
• Use Expo's OTA (Over-the-Air) update capabilities to quickly deploy new features and fixes.
• Continuously monitor application performance, fix bugs, and iterate features based on user feedback.

• Experience in successfully launching React Native applications (App Store or Google Play).
• Familiarity with state management tools (such as Redux, Recoil, MobX).
• Understanding of real-time data processing (such as WebSocket, Firebase) or offline functionality development.
• Familiarity with other cross-platform frameworks (such as Flutter) or native development (Swift/Kotlin).
• Some understanding of UI/UX design principles, capable of efficient communication with designers.

Job Requirements

• At least 3 years of React Native development experience, proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• In-depth knowledge of the Expo framework, including Expo CLI, Expo SDK, and its core modules (such as Expo Notifications, Expo Location, etc.).
• Familiarity with React Native UI component libraries (such as React Native Elements, NativeBase) and custom component development.
• Familiarity with RESTful API and GraphQL integration, with experience in backend collaboration.
• Understanding of mobile performance optimization techniques, such as state management, lazy loading, and memory management.
• Familiarity with Git version control and experience in Agile development (Agile/Scrum).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and teamwork abilities, capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
