Your challenges as a Resource Management Consultant

As a Resource Management Consultant you are part of one of Aeven’s most critical functions, namely the people allocation process, and you will over time get to know peoples’ skills, strengths and weaknesses thoroughly. Here your people genes come perfectly into play.

You will work extremely closely with managers, employees and our sales division day to day. You will have your own responsibility area within either our IT consulting or IT infrastructure area and there you will become a valued partner and advisor to the managers and employees.

Your responsibilities and daily tasks include:

• Ensure staffing and allocation of small, medium and large assignments to ensure the right mix of skills and seniority and on- and offshore people. This is the key part of your job.
• Help solve bottlenecks and prioritize in close collaboration with managers, projects and employees as priorities change all the time to match our clients’ needs.
• Build relationships with managers and people across Aeven and build deep knowledge of ‘your’ employees’ skills and preferences for use in day-to-day staffing.
• Become a super-user and ambassador for resource management tools and ensure that data quality is high and credible.
• We primarily use internal Aeven resources, but you will also be in contact with external consultancy suppliers when needed.

It is a job that gives you major influence on your daily workday planning. Flexibility is however important because we operate in a very dynamic and often busy atmosphere.

Your qualifications and experience:

• It is an advantage if you have previously worked in a resource management function in an IT set-up and have experience with resource management tools.
• Alternatively, you may have +5 years’ experience as IT Project Manager or Team Leader within the IT industry which has given you experience in resource planning. It will be an advantage if you have experience of working with either IT Infrastructure, SAP, Microsoft or IT Consulting.
• You are a team player and know that the team effort is essential to develop the resource management function, processes, and tools. To be successful in the job you understand the needs of our organization and you are always committed to providing high quality and value-added services. You enjoy working with data, systems and reporting (e.g. Qlik view and Excel).
• You communicate well with stakeholders on all levels and know how to establish a network across the organization and/or technology and service areas. Priorities can constantly create change, and bottlenecks will occur in a business like ours and in these situations, you act quickly and find the right solutions.
• You speak and write English fluently.

Work Schedule

Employees will be expected to adhere to a flexible hybrid work schedule, with a required presence in the office for 1 day per week, allowing for customization of work hours within a specified morning or mid-shift time frame.
