We are seeking a talented and creative Roblox Game Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and maintaining engaging games on the Roblox platform. This role also involves tracking and reporting key performance metrics to ensure games meet quality and engagement standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Game Ideation

• Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and conceptualize innovative game ideas tailored to the Roblox platform.
• Conduct market research and analyze player trends to develop compelling game concepts.
• Create detailed game design documents, including mechanics, objectives, and user engagement strategies.

Game Development

• Design, script, and build immersive and interactive game experiences.
• Develop robust game mechanics, features, and assets and implement.
• Ensure games are optimized for performance across a range of devices and meet Roblox guidelines.
• Collaborate with necessary departments and stakeholders to integrate design elements necessary.

Game Maintenance

• Monitor and resolve bugs, glitches, and other technical issues reported by players or identified during testing.
• Regularly update games with new features, levels, and content to maintain player interest and engagement.
• Ensure games comply with Roblox’s safety and content guidelines, including updates based on platform policies.

Reporting (Optional)

• Track and analyze game performance metrics, such as player retention, engagement, and revenue.
• Prepare regular reports on game performance and provide actionable insights for improvements.
• Use player feedback and data to identify opportunities for enhancements and future game updates.

• Proven experience developing games on the Roblox platform, with a portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in scripting and familiarity with Roblox Studio tools.
• Strong understanding of game mechanics, user experience, and player engagement strategies.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with a cross-functional team.
• Passion for gaming and a keen understanding of the Roblox ecosystem and player community.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with creating branded roblox games (or non-branded - please send samples)
• Familiarity with analytics tools for monitoring game performance.
• Knowledge of monetization strategies and in-game economy design
