Job Overview:

Our client is seeking an energetic and driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join their growing sales team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, particularly in the realms of AI, machine learning, and cloud computing. The SDR will be responsible for identifying and creating new qualified sales opportunities for our client’s AI/ML services built on AWS. This role involves outreach to startups and SMBs, understanding their business needs, and effectively communicating how our solutions can help them achieve their objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting: Conduct thorough research to identify potential leads within specified verticals. Utilize various tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoominfo, industry reports, etc) to find and qualify prospects.
  • Outreach: Engage prospects through multiple channels including cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and webinars. Craft personalized messages that resonate with the specific needs and challenges of AI/ML in various industries.
  • Lead Nurturing: Develop relationships with potential customers, understand their AI/ML journey, and educate them on how our AWS solutions can optimize their operations, reduce costs, or drive innovation.
  • Qualification: Assess the potential of leads by understanding their business model, current technology stack, and future AI/ML plans. Qualify these leads for further engagement by our Account Executives.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and sales teams to refine lead generation strategies, share insights from customer interactions, and contribute to the development of sales materials and content.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage, track, and report on all sales activities and progress in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, Pipedrive, etc.), ensuring data quality, and providing accurate forecasts.
  • Market Feedback: Provide feedback from the market to product and marketing teams regarding customer needs, competitive landscape, and product improvements.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales development, preferably in tech or cloud computing (experience with AI/ML solutions is a plus).
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong understanding of or willingness to quickly learn about AI, machine learning, and cloud technologies, particularly AWS.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge in the MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.) or Google Workspace (G Suite) and agility in learning new internal software and systems.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales automation tools.
  • A proactive attitude with an entrepreneurial spirit.


Note: This role requires a proactive approach to learning and adaptation to the fast-paced environment of tech sales.


Minimum Requirements:

  • i5 10th Gen or equivalent, 8GB RAM, 2GB Video Card or Integrated Graphics Card, Windows 10 or macOS (no Netbooks or Chromebooks), Headset with noise cancellation feature
  • Main Internet should be minimum of 20MBPs, wired only
  • An Antivirus Software should be installed, activated and updated
