Position Overview
The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and troubleshooting our Salesforce environment and its integrated applications. Reporting to the COO and working under the guidance of a Senior Admin/Developer, this role ensures system and data integrity, supports business operations and enhances automation.
System Administration & Support
- Manage user accounts, profiles, roles, and security settings.
- Maintain and optimize Salesforce configuration, including custom objects, fields, record types, workflows, validation rules, page layouts, and automation.
- Provide day-to-day support and troubleshooting for Salesforce-related issues.
- Ensure data integrity by implementing data validation rules and duplicate management strategies.
- Develop and maintain user documentation related to Salesforce configurations and processes.
- Report and manage our data using migration tools such as Excel and data loader
Process Automation & Optimization
- Design and implement simple automation using Salesforce Flows, Process Builder, and Approval Processes to improve business workflows.
- Optimize our Field Service Lightning (FSL) implementation for scheduling and job tracking.
- Work closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements.
- Develop and implement best practices for Salesforce adoption and usage.
Reporting & Analytics
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide business insights and real-time data analytics.
- Support leadership and operational teams with data-driven decision-making by providing customized reporting solutions.
Customization & Integrations
- Maintain and enhance custom objects.
- Manage integrations between Salesforce and external platforms such as AWS, Workato, and third-party CRMs.
- Ensure seamless data flow and integration across various business systems.
Training & User Adoption
- Develop and maintain user guides, training materials, and process documentation.
- Act as the primary contact for user-related questions and troubleshooting.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum three years’ experience in the administration of Salesforce.
- Certified Salesforce Administrator.
- Experience managing users, profiles, roles, permission sets, and security settings.
- Strong proficiency in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, including Workflows, Flows, Process Builder, Formulas, Validation Rules, and Lightning Web Components.
- Extensive support to end users, understanding client needs and required solutions.
- Problem resolution to minimize the impact of service outages, with an excellent understanding of data structures and data modeling.
- Integration of Salesforce with third-party applications.
- Strong data management skills, including data cleansing and duplicate management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on multiple projects.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with non-technical stakeholders and translate business needs into technical solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Youreka forms engine or other form-building applications within Salesforce.
- Experience managing Field Service Lightning (FSL) and understanding scheduling and dispatching processes.
- Experience Cloud implementation experience
- Exposure to Apex, SOQL, and Lightning Components is a plus.
