Job Description
The Supply Chain Planning and Operations Manager is responsible for the end to end planning and execution of Supply Chain Operations, ensuring the seamless flow of live hog sales and transfers,raw materials, and finished goods to meet market demands efficiently. This role oversees demand and supply planning, inventory management, production coordination, logistics and order fulfillment while ensuring operational excellence, cost optimization and compliance to support business objectives and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
He / She plays a crucial role in developing and maintaining good relationships with co-Supply Chain departments namely Planning and Governance, Production and Transport.
Qualifications
Education:
- Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, Lean Manufacturing or a related field.
Experience
- 7+ years working in a variety of roles in a manufacturing organization, including experience in some or all of these areas: Operations. Supply Chain, Procurement Customer Service. Commercial Sales
- 5+ years of experience in a leadership role
- Prior experience leading scheduling/planning transformation is strongly preferred
