Robotics Facilitator, as one of FEI’s professional leaders, directly reports to Program Manager. The role of a Robotics teacher is to help students apply STEM concepts through Robotics lessons/instructions and presentations. Likewise, he/she prepares lesson plans, grades papers, manages the classroom, meets with parents (during PTC), and works closely with FEI and school teachers and staff. 

As Robotics Facilitator

1. Reports to his/her assigned school following the school’s standard time.

2. Demonstrates competence in the delivery of Robotics lessons.

3. Conducts classes at the scheduled time.

4. Provides meaningful and challenging learning experiences that promote students' intrinsic motivation.

5. Engages students in active, hands-on, creative problem-based learning.

6. Provides opportunities for students to access and use current technology, resources and information to solve problems, and apply the lessons learned.

7. Keeps updated records timely the SW, HW and PETA of students.

8.Uses student assessment data as guide in instructional decision to improve student learning

9. The Robotics facilitator, should the school require or permit it, must handle makeup classes when the classes are for Robotics.

10. Submits essential documents to respective Program Managers on time.

11. Substitutes Robotics classes when needed.

12. The Robotics facilitator, should the school require it, can handle examination proctoring, provided that the facilitator is sufficiently oriented on the procedures by the involved subject teacher.

13. If in cases when the whole class is pulled out during Robotics time due to school events, the Robotics facilitator should be with the class until the end of the period, and must wait for the next subject teacher to look after their class, unless otherwise the class adviser is with them and took responsibility for looking after the class

14. The Robotics facilitator should attend school activities, whether inside or outside the school’s premises, when the school requires him/her to do so without any expenses incurred.

Education:  

• Candidate must possess bachelor’s degree in Education or any other course with Education Units 

Experience(s):  

• Passed the Licensure Examination for Teacher or has the intention to take LET within the year of employment 

Specific Knowledge:  

• Required Skills: at least intermediate level of computer skills, good communication, strong interpersonal skills, with good analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills 

Business Understanding:  

• Student-handling skills, Classroom Management, Teaching Strategies, Philippine educational system/Deped/CHED,
