Description

  • Operate and drive heavy vehicles safely over long distances.
  • Transport goods and materials to specified locations.
  • Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections.
  • Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel use, and deliveries.
  • Follow all federal and local trucking regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients.
  • Ensure cargo is secured and compliant with safety standards.

Requirements

  • Educational Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience Level: 1-3 years of driving experience, preferably with a clean driving record.
  • Skills and Competencies: Proficient in navigation, vehicle maintenance, and safety regulations.
  • Responsibilities and Duties: Transport goods efficiently, conduct vehicle inspections, and maintain delivery logs.
  • Working Conditions: Often long hours, potential overnight trips, and varied weather conditions.
  • Qualities and Traits: Reliable, strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused attitude.
