Job Description
Description
- Operate heavy-duty trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
- Manage delivery schedules and communicate with dispatch.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation of routes and cargo.
- Assist in loading and unloading cargo as necessary.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: High/Senior High School diploma required.
- Experience Level: Less than 1 year of driving experience preferred.
- Skills and Competencies: Valid driver's license, strong driving skills, responsible attitude, vehicle maintenance knowledge, and proficiency in road transportation.
- Working Conditions: Long hours on the road, varied weather conditions, and potential for overtime.
- Qualities and Traits: Dependable, attentive, and possess strong problem-solving capabilities.
