Description
- Load and unload trucks with boxes of frozen meat using pallet jacks or forklifts.
- Organize and stack boxes of frozen meat in designated areas within the cold storage.
- Pick and prepare products for dispatch according to delivery orders or customer requests.
- Perform regular inventory checks and ensure accurate stock records.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing products for accuracy, damage, or quality issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the warehouse and cold storage areas.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and in compliance with safety standards.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols, especially in handling frozen goods.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse experience, especially in cold storage or food handling is a plus.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy boxes.
- Ability to work in freezing temperatures for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Basic knowledge of inventory systems or warehouse documentation is a bonus.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
