The Mid-Level BigCommerce Developer is responsible for building, customizing, and optimizing e-commerce solutions using the BigCommerce platform. This role requires collaboration with project managers, designers, and developers to deliver scalable solutions that meet client requirements. The developer will develop custom themes, integrate third-party services, and ensure adherence to best practices and performance standards.

• Extensive experience with BigCommerce development and platform architecture
• Strong proficiency in React.js (required) and Next.js for headless storefront development
• Experience with BigCommerce Widget Builder and Custom Checkout SDK
• Deep knowledge of Stencil, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and BigCommerce APIs (GraphQL & REST)
• Hands-on experience with BigCommerce GraphQL Storefront and Admin APIs
• Familiarity with B2B features including Buyer Portal, shared carts, and company catalogs (nice to have)
• Strong problem-solving skills to tackle complex challenges
• Effective communication skills for client and team interactions
• Strategic mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

Skills for Success:

• Solid understanding of BigCommerce development and the Stencil framework.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Handlebars templating.
• Ability to customize BigCommerce themes and build custom functionality.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with e-commerce concepts like product catalogs and payment processing.
