About the role

The 3D Animator produces 4–5 minute story-based animated videos that teach moral lessons to children. The role involves turning scripts into engaging scenes, animating characters and environments with emotional depth, and maintaining visual consistency. Key tasks include lighting, pacing, syncing voiceovers, adding sound and music, and handling rendering and file organization. Strong storytelling, attention to detail, and proficiency in lighting, rendering, and compositing are essential, along with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Your days will be filled with:

• Producing 4–5 minute 3D animated videos that deliver short, story-based moral lessons for children.
• Translating scripts into clear scenes and shots; blocking scenes, setting up cameras, and creating simple storyboards when needed.
• Animating characters, props, and environments to convey emotion, clarity, and warmth while maintaining the channel’s established visual tone and design.
• Applying soft lighting, balanced composition, and calm pacing to match the channel’s reflective storytelling style.
• Syncing and editing AI-generated or stock voiceovers to align with story timing and mood.
• Adding background music, ambient sounds, and final edits to produce cohesive, engaging videos.
• Rendering and organizing project files, creating 2–3 thumbnail stills per episode, and cutting 15–30 second teaser clips for YouTube Shorts or Instagram.
• Demonstrating strong storytelling, visual composition, and attention to facial expressions, gestures, and natural movement.
• Applying experience in lighting, rendering, and compositing workflows.
• Working independently with consistency, quality, and on-time delivery.
• Maintaining a calm, organized, and detail-oriented approach to creative tasks.

Who we are looking for:

• 2–5 years in 3D animation and storytelling projects.
• Must-have: 3D animation experience (Blender preferred), familiarity with AI text-to-speech tools.
• Preferred: Experience in children’s media, educational content, or moral storytelling.
• Ability to create high-quality, creative videos aligned with Mo’s project vision.
• Quick understanding of creative briefs with minimal supervision.
• Proactive, self-directed, and capable of managing multiple deliverables.
• Willingness to support weekly video production and contribute to the growth of Mo’s YouTube channel and related creative initiatives

Tools Used

• Blender (preferred), or equivalent 3D animation tools.
• Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, or similar video editing software.
• AI voiceover tools and royalty-free sound/music libraries.

Device Requirements (Computer & Equipment)

• Hardware capable of 3D rendering (GPU-equipped workstation recommended).
• Primary and backup computer with at least Intel Core i5 (12th Gen Above) or AMD Ryzen 5, and 8GB RAM
• Web camera 
• Headset (preferably noise-canceling)

Internet Connection

• Primary: Minimum 30 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload
• Backup: At least 10 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload

We promote the use of backup devices and internet connections to ensure uptime and continuity — essential for serving international clients across time zones.
