The Senior ITO Manager is primarily responsible for the overall service management of the IT infrastructure of the bank ensuring the availability and performance as required by the business. The Senior ITO Manager also ensures that the BPI Oversight Team and Outsourced Service Providers are in sync with the objective of ensuring normal Day-to-Day operations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures that the IT Infrastructure of the bank meet the committed service level targets which includes identifying critical and key service management metrics that are measured, analyzed and targeted for continuous improvement
  • Manages Infrastructure related problems and incidents to meet the defined recovery time objectives (RTO)
  • Ensures that Infrastructure-related issues and concerns are addressed within targets depending on problem and incident priority levels
  • Operates and maintain the various IT infrastructure platforms (mainframe, storage, network, etc.) to meet availability and capacity level targets. This ensures that current and projected IT infrastructure are able to support the ISG Digital Initiatives.
  • Ensures that Infrastructure related changes are reviewed, tested, compliant to standards and will not result to service disruption upon implementation
  • Ensures that Infrastructure related expenses are reviewed and within the approved Divisional budget
  • Ensures that Third party vendors are performing services within the committed TAT and complying with the deliverables as declared in the contract
  • Ensures that the Outsourced Service Provider are compliant with the infrastructure related guideline, standards and policies

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a 4-year college degree in Computer Science, IT, Management or other related courses
  • At least 2 years in similar function
  • At least 5 years of management experience in a technology-related role
  • Knowledge in banking concepts or related training in Financial Services Concepts
  • Knowledge in Solution Delivery Life Cycle, Advanced Analysis and Design, COBOL, CICS, VB, SQL Programming, ITIL
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Advanced technical skills/programming
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills
