Description

  • The Accounting/Admin Staff will be responsible for supporting both accounting and administrative functions within the company.
  • This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can handle financial record-keeping, document management, and other administrative tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
  • The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and have the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, including bookkeeping and data entry into accounting software.
  • Process invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, balance sheets, and income statements.
  • Help with the reconciliation of accounts, including bank statements and accounts payable/receivable.
  • Prepare payroll and assist with other HR-related transactions.
  • Assist in tax filing and other regulatory compliance tasks.
  • Manage and organize physical and digital files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and properly stored.
  • Assist with scheduling meetings, appointments, and events as required.
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries from clients, suppliers, and staff.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence as directed by supervisors.
  • Assist in office supply management and inventory control.
  • Ensure the smooth flow of communication between departments and external contacts.
  • Help in coordinating office activities and events.
  • Assist in managing office logistics, such as arranging deliveries or office repairs.
  • Monitor and manage departmental budgets and expenses to ensure adherence to financial guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors to support overall business operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in accounting or administrative support (3 years experience is required)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to multitask and work under minimal supervision.
