Direct reporting to the SMCSL Pollution Control Officer (PCO).
Process all permits in relations to DENR compliance.
Environmental Aspects and Impacts: Identify significant environmental aspects and impacts of operational activities and recommend possible mitigating measures.
Permitting and Registration: Attend to all permitting and registration requirements prior to the construction or operation of pollution sources and control facilities.
Quarterly Reports: Submit Self-Monitoring Reports (SMRs) and Compliance Monitoring Reports (CMRs) periodically.
Incident Reporting: Report any environmental incidents or exceedances in effluent and/or emission standards within a stipulated time frame.
Environmental Management Facilities: Ensure proper performance, operation, and maintenance of facilities .
Hazardous Waste Disposal: Ensure hazardous wastes are covered by a Permit to Transport and each transport is documented by a hazardous waste manifest.
Government Interaction: Act as the liaison officer to the Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) and coordinate regulatory programs with local government units.

Must have completed the Basic PCO Trading Course by an EMB-recognized training organization or institution within the last three years.
With at least 5 years relevant experience in environmental management.
