Summary

We’re launching an exciting new media and tech company focused on the wonderful world of cooking and food.

We’re looking for someone to join as one of our first Content Writers.

In this role you’ll play a key role in shaping and implementing our content strategy.

Responsibilities

• Plan, research and create content to help us engage and grow the audience
• Write and produce high-quality, engaging content for blogs, email campaigns and social media
• Ability to optimise written content for SEO to boost organic traffic and improve search rankings
• Development of our content calendar
• Track and analyse the effectiveness of content, using insights to inform future strategies and improve performance
• Developing the company blog to grow organic traffic through a mix of engaging and keyword driven posts, link building and guest posting
• Proofreading support for all types of marketing content.

• Exceptional copywriting and content creation skills with a portfolio of work that showcases your ability to engage audiences
• Strong SEO knowledge and experience in optimise content for search engines
• Strong research skills
• Experience managing content for social media, blogs, our website, and general marketing
• Excellent attention to detail and editing skills
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal - and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of SEO and EATT and ability to use tools like Ahrefs and keyword research tools

Bonus requirements

• An interest in food / cooking
• Experience and examples of creating longform or “skyscraper” content as well as short form content
• Knowledge what makes content ‘shareworthy’ 
• Familiarity with SaaS writing
• Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics to monitor content performance
• A creative thinker who brings fresh ideas for engaging content and campaign strategies
