Description

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and workplace conflicts.
  • Investigate employee complaints and allegations of misconduct, discrimination, or harassment; document findings and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Advise managers and supervisors on employee relations best practices, policy interpretation, and disciplinary actions.
  • Collaborate with HR and legal teams to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Support performance management processes, including coaching, corrective actions, and termination decisions.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on workplace behavior, conflict resolution, and company policies.
  • Analyze trends in employee relations issues and recommend solutions for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and documentation.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Support organizational change efforts and help manage employee communication during transitions.



Requirements

  • Job Title: Employee Relations Specialist
  • Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience Level: 3-5 years of experience in employee relations or HR roles.
  • Skills and Competencies: Strong communication, employee relations, coaching, and leadership development skills; proficiency in HR business partnering and organizational development; computer literate.
  • Responsibilities and Duties: Manage employee relations issues, facilitate coaching sessions, support leadership development initiatives, and partner with HR on organizational strategy.
  • Working Conditions: Standard office environment; may involve occasional travel.
  • Qualities and Traits: Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to promoting a positive work culture.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 3–5+ years of experience in employee relations or human resources.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR practices.
  • Excellent communication, mediation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) is a plus.
