Overview of the Role

As an IT Advisor & Client Readiness Lead, you'll assess client IT needs, recommend the right tools and security setups, and help convert leads into clients by emphasizing the value of IT solutions. You'll also collaborate with internal teams to ensure our IT infrastructure is top-notch, meeting industry standards and supporting seamless VA integration.

?Role: This position is for the MMM Support Team

?Shift: Full-Time, Graveyard (11:00 PM – 8:00 AM PHT)

?Setup: 100% Permanent Work-from-Home


RESPONSIBILITIES:


IT Advisor & Client Readiness Lead

  • Engage with endorsed leads to assess their IT needs and recommend appropriate tools, systems, and security setups (including HIPAA compliance).
  • Collaborate with Sales to emphasize IT benefits in converting leads into clients.
  • Provide technical checklists for potential clients, outlining their IT requirements for seamless VA integration.


IT Setup & Vendor Relations Manager (Pre-Hire Focus)

  • Act as the trusted advisor for third-party IT vendors (software, VOIP, EMR/EHR systems, VPN), ensuring smooth setup of IT infrastructure.
  • Maintain vendor relationships for competitive pricing, quick issue resolution, and quality support.
  • Manage and troubleshoot all technical issues related to third-party tools and systems, coordinating directly with vendors and exhausting all potential solutions. Engage the MMM IT team only when necessary to assist with VA onboarding after the issue has been resolved.


IT Security & Compliance Setup

  • Ensure recommended tools meet industry security and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, data protection, cybersecurity).
  • Conduct security assessments with clients' internal IT teams before onboarding and configure secure access controls.
  • Provide IT security training to internal teams (Sales, Placements, Account Management) to improve client interactions.


Long-Term IT Support & Client Satisfaction

  • Transition away from direct onboarding involvement (handover client/va setup to the Onboarding Specialist) once all tools and systems are ready for VA deployment.
  • Serve as a technical advisor for long-term client IT improvements and conduct quarterly IT check-ins for high-priority clients to ensure optimization.
  • Develop knowledge base articles, guides, and FAQs to reduce recurring client queries and improve efficiency.


Internal IT Process Optimization & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with the Onboarding Specialist to provide IT system insights before onboarding begins and serve as the primary contact for technical escalations during the first 30 days of the client/VA journey.
  • Align with the IT and Security teams to maintain best practices for compliance and secure setups.
  • Provide technical clarity on IT-related concerns to Sales and Account Managers
  • Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual IT setups and improve client experience.


QUALIFICATIONS:


Non-Negotiable:

  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Expert-level knowledge in computer software and hardware.
  • Expert in setup and troubleshooting of BYOD and work-from-home setups
  • Advanced knowledge in PC, network, and internet security.
  • Exceptional technical, conceptual, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.


Other Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years of remote support or work-from-home experience.
  • Prior support experience with email systems, GSuite, Salesforce, productivity sites, remote access applications, and various VOIP applications, along with a good grasp of telephony systems.
  • Strong background in PC, network, and internet security, with extensive knowledge of work-from-home applications (e.g., browsers, VPNs, VOIP, PC security).
  • At least 3 years of experience in computer security support.
  • Experience in Sales, B2B client handling, and business-to-business (B2B) or business-to-customer (B2C) support is a huge plus.
  • Quick critical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities and a high regard for efficiency, quality work, and integrity with minimal supervision.
