Our integrated quality management platform helps customers in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and medical device sectors streamline compliance, manage documentation, and automate quality processes.


To further strengthen our expertise in the life sciences industry, we are launching the SimplerQMS Academy. The aim of this initiative is to better uphold a core pillar of our value proposition: to be the life science experts our customers trust in successfully implementing our eQMS—not only from a technical implementation standpoint but also from an organizational development perspective.


The Academy identifies and develops high-quality training content for our customers, enabling a more scalable and impactful onboarding experience in collaboration with our hands-on workshop trainers from our customer onboarding teams. It also oversees the process of building life science competencies related to the use cases supported by our software solution. Additionally, the Academy is responsible for creating modern training materials that are adapted to individual user preferences, combining self-learning with trainer-assisted learning to focus on the most efficient learning methods.


We are looking for an Learning & Development Specialist to support this initiative. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the training experience for both our internal teams and external customers. You will collaborate closely with subject matter experts to develop effective learning materials, ensure alignment with business objectives, and support continuous improvement of our training initiatives. Job Responsibilities:

  • Contribute in defining learning objectives and targets for customers and internal teams.
  • Co-lead development of and organize all learning materials (curriculum) to ensure they align with the learning objectives and meet the needs of the learners.
  • Collaborate cross functionally with subject matter experts to gather training materials and ensure all materials are up to date.
  • Lead the development of concise, and engaging scripts, visual assets, and storyboards of learning videos for optimal engagement.
  • Contribute to the development of learning strategies and frameworks, while assisting in the implementation and delivery of these initiatives.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and implement improvements.


Primary tasks:

1. Contribute in Establishing Learning Objectives and Targets:

  • Establish clear learning objectives and materials for both internal and external use.

2. Design and Organize Learning Materials:

  • Create and organize all learning materials (curriculum) to ensure they align with the learning objectives and meet the needs of both customers and CS team members.
  • Develop engaging and effective educational content, including script, documentation, and other training materials.

4. Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs):

  • Work cross-functionally with SMEs to gather accurate training materials and ensure all content is relevant and up-to-date.
  • Incorporate feedback from SMEs to improve training materials.

5. Lead the development of concise, and engaging scripts, visual assets, and storyboards of learning videos for optimal engagement.

  • Develop engaging and effective video tutorial scripts by collaborating with SMEs, outlining content, and integrating clear visual cues and learner engagement strategies.
  • Coordinate the creation of necessary video assets by defining learning requirements.

6. Evaluate and Improve Training Programs:

  • Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and implement improvements based on feedback and data.
  • Ensure that training programs are meeting the learning objectives and the needs of the learners.


Qualifications:

  • Learning & Development Experience: 3-4 years of experience designing and delivering training programs, preferably within a life sciences or regulated industry.
  • Instructional Design: Proven ability to create and organize learning materials (curriculum, scripts, multimedia) to meet diverse learner needs.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, including subject matter experts and senior leaders.
  • Problem Solving: Strong critical thinking skills with a focus on improving learning outcomes and solving training challenges. Ability to adapt content based on feedback and learner needs.
  • Preference on experience with Learning Management Systems is preferred, including the ability to organize, deliver, and track training materials.
