• Hey there! I'm a solo developer drowning in cool project ideas and desperately need another brain in the mix. This isn't your typical "here's a spec, now code it" gig. When I'm not writing code, I run a telecommunications company delivering voice and data solutions to businesses and providing network consulting to other ISPs. Between all of these things, projects get backed up, and I simply don't have enough time in the day to get everything done - I need your help.

What you'll be doing:

• Building and maintaining web apps using React (TypeScript) on the frontend and Laravel (PHP) on the backend
• Jumping between projects as priorities shift (sometimes hourly!)
• Coming up with solutions, not just implementing them
• Having actual input on how we build things

Who you are:

• A problem-solver who doesn't need hand-holding
• Someone who can communicate clearly (no mind readers here)
• Comfortable with both React/TypeScript and Laravel/PHP ecosystems
• Self-motivated - I can't micromanage you, I'm too busy!
• Adaptable - requirements will change, that's life
• Someone who takes ownership and has opinions on how code should work

The Reality:

• I'm a small business, it's just me right now, and I need help to complete my ever growing list of projects. You'll have real impact and freedom, but also real responsibility.
• The work is varied, sometimes chaotic, but never boring.

• We're looking for someone with at least 3-5 years of hands-on experience building web applications.
• You should be comfortable with our tech stack – specifically React and TypeScript on the frontend, and Laravel with PHP on the backend. While you don't need to be an expert in everything, you should be able to work independently across the full stack and know when to ask questions.
• Version control with Git is essential, as is experience with REST APIs and database design.
• You should understand the fundamentals of web security and performance optimization.
• We're not looking for someone who just follows tutorials – you need to understand why certain approaches work better than others and be able to make sound architectural decisions.
• Most importantly, you need to be an excellent communicator. Since we're a tiny team, clarity in communication is crucial. This means being able to explain your thinking process, suggest alternatives when appropriate, and speak up when something doesn't make sense.
• The ability to context-switch efficiently and manage your own time will be vital to your success here.
• Initially we're looking at a 3 month trial, after which we will evaluate a long term arrangement and the potential to exposure of telecommunications and carrier networking.
