Software Developer – FIX Protocol

Permanent and direct hire

Location: Makati / Hybrid (Onsite twice a month)

Schedule: Flexible hours, no night shifts, PH holidays observed, weekends off

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Java (Python experience is a plus but not mandatory)
• Implement and maintain FIX Protocol integrations to ensure seamless communication with trading platforms
• Participate in front-end development tasks (light to moderate scope), preferably using Angular or Node.js
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and deliver scalable solutions
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code with an emphasis on performance and security
• Use DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD, AWS DevOps, Linux) to deploy and manage applications
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in real-time financial systems

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in full-stack software development experience
• Strong command of Java and solid experience working with FIX Protocol
• Familiarity with Linux environments and deployment processes
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and cloud-based tools (preferably AWS)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in financial services, trading systems, or capital markets
• Familiarity with market data systems or other financial messaging standards
• Working knowledge of Python and modern front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, Node.js)
