Plans and executes daily, weekly schedule manpower allocation and machine requirement to meet weekly output, lead time and OTD target using the planner weekly plan from generated pre-production schedule.
Leads and organized Production group in conducting developmental studies in the formulation of new operation rules and procedures to upgrade manufacturing efficiency, minimize production of defective parts and shorten manufacturing cycle time using the actual data provided by company system, as reference for the improvement.
Demonstrates integrity in its business dealings with people & organizations and should operate consistent to its corporate to his highest ethical standards to ensure that no one will commit unethical actions in the group.
Initiates 5’s in the production area and continues improvement by encouraging the group to improve efficiency and good working condition in the production area by teaching 5’s principles and as a good example in for complying the principles.
Reviews and Reports weekly/monthly utilization and other M/S KPI’s like Fi rejection, non-productive time, tool cost, 8D, attendance and yield to support departmental goal, target and make necessary plan of action for meeting the objectives using data provided company generated system.
Monitors and Coordinates other departments or stake holder to directly inform the daily encounter problem to make immediate necessary solution and to gain support to production support group.
Trains/Orients new machine operator during the immersion from the first day up to the end the training period to meet the learning curve and to support machinist in meeting utilization using the VMC, Laser, Wire Cut Machines, Assembly and other equipment use by production and training materials provided.
Appraises/Evaluates Machinist, Machinist 1, Machinist 2, Machinist 3 and Journeyman PMS to update the periodic appraisal result of their quality of work and performance evaluation using the data from company provided generating system and from other support department.
Reports to Senior MS Supervisor and/or Operations Manager the status of production operation, schedule and progress to know if the daily or weekly plan will be met in accordance to weekly shipment plan release by planner.
Conducts regular line patrol in order to ensure that the line and the processing procedures are in accordance with the established rules and procedures
Does other job as deem necessary by the Operations Manager and/or the President.
Education :MechanicalEngineering graduate or Mechanical Technology graduate or any Engineering related course.Experience :At least five (5) years related work experience in a manufacturing set-up preferably in Machine Shop and at least two (2) years of supervisory level or lead role.
