- Assist in formulating new recipes for bread and cakes by documenting ingredient ratios, preparation methods, and baking times.
- Maintain organized recipe notebooks or digital files with clear, concise notes on each recipe, including variations and testing outcomes.
- Document the results of recipe testing, including successes, failures, and areas for improvement.
- Document the performance of each ingredient, including its taste, texture, and impact on the final product.
- Assist in developing and maintaining quality control protocols for bread and cake production.
- Evaluate products for quality, taste, texture, and appearance, documenting any issues or areas for improvement.
- Assist in developing and refining baking processes for new recipes.
- Collect data from recipe testing, ingredient trials, and quality control evaluations.
- Assist in managing inventory levels of ingredients and supplies.
- Prepare reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
职位要求
- A degree in culinary arts, food science, or a related field is preferred.
- Equivalent experience in a bakery or kitchen setting may also be considered.
- Previous experience in a research and development role within the food industry, particularly with baked goods, is highly desirable.
- Proficient in recording recipes, processes, and findings during research and development.
- Ability to create and maintain detailed product development files.
- Strong ability to write clear and concise documentation, including reports, manuals, and recipe modifications.
- Capable of conducting experiments and documenting outcomes accurately.
- Meticulous attention to detail when documenting recipes and results, ensuring accuracy in measurements and processes.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and ability to document compliance with hygiene and safety protocols.
