We are looking for a Marketing Executiver who will execute and measure the company’s co-operative campaigns and partnerships and manage social media channels for 5 internal brands. The ideal candidate will perform the following:
Responsibilities
- Manage external stakeholder relationships to drive profitable sales, target market share gain/growth and enhance the brand profile across national and regional activity.
- You will be an expert communicator and storyteller, able to identify opportunities to build awareness for and drive traffic to the company’s brands.
- Work closely with the CEO, GM, Product Development teams to assist with the execution of advertising and promotional campaigns.
- Maintain relationships with the Product Development and Contracting and Procurement teams to ensure consistent alignment of promotional activity
- Working with media, partners and internal teams to develop creative and content briefs pertaining to marketing activity.
- Manage the end-to-end process of marketing assets including briefing, proofing, approval and dispatch (across TVC, Radio, Press, Magazine, Paid Social/Digital, website campaign pages, POS material).
- Deliver campaign proposals to suppliers and lead a wider Marketing team campaign brief to align owned channels to paid activity.
- Manage post-campaign reporting and ROI analysis for suppliers and internal review.
- Working with product teams to ensure the right campaign product is provided in a timely manner.
- Create and manage annual content/campaign calendar
- Manage and apply Brand Kit guidelines
Digital Marketing
- Proactively updating marketing content on all brand websites (all copy, imagery and promotions) to ensure product / service accuracy, effective positioning and optimised conversion
- Take responsibility for updating content on all third-party websites
- Social media support: take ownership of social media account/s, including copyrighting and planning and content creation via in-house resources or external photographers / content creators
- Create and send email EDM marketing using Mailchimp
- Develop and schedule engaging content across multiple social media platforms to increase brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and build strong relationships with followers.
- Create content that captures attention, aligns with trends, and reflects the brand's tone of voice (TOV).
- Creating assets for new campaigns, key sale moments and brand collaborations.
Tactical Promotions
- Ensure campaigns and promotional activities are implemented effectively and on time
- Coordinate all aspects of the design and placement of print and digital collateral, ensuring it is brand-compliant
- Maintain records of all design and any campaign results as required
Qualifications
- Excellent English communication and written skills
- Demonstrated experience within Travel Industry marketing and preferably within Australian Travel Industry
- You are an all-round marketer who can execute and measure co-operative campaigns and partnerships
- You will have an understanding of analytics and reporting, and the ability to analyse data to make informed decisions
- Proven ability to write in a brand tone of voice
- You will enjoy project managing marketing activity for upcoming campaigns, ‘always on’ activity, tactical sales and partnership activity marketing assets
- High Skill level use of Canva
- High Skill level use of Mailchimp
- 1–2 years of experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketing
- A degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred)
- A natural talent for storytelling paired with strong copywriting skills
- Basic video editing expertise and the ability to create compelling short-form content
- Exceptional organisational skills, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A passion for travel and a knack for staying ahead of social media trends
