Data Analytics Associate

Job Description:

• Evaluating the data protection and privacy practices of our clients and Conducting Privacy Impact Assessments
• Monitor processes and drive improvements in efficiency and quality of privacy programs
• Develop privacy policies, procedures, standards based on the applicable privacy regulation and organisation strategy and roadmap
• Maintain continuous communication with key stakeholders in support of the strategy, and plan and solicit feedbacks, to uplift the programs and capabilities
• Conduct security process implementation reviews to assess security effectiveness and reporting
• Supporting and guiding our clients in adhering to the complex web of relevant national and international regulations (e.g. PDPA , EU General Data Protection Regulation).
• Document, track, investigate all data subject requests, complaints, breaches, potential breaches concerning the organization’s privacy and report the same to DPO and/or relevant supervisory authorities, as the case may be.
• Assess and Draft the Inventory of personal data , Data Flow Diagrams, Record of Processing Objects .
• Provide inputs on changes in the privacy landscape based on new privacy laws & regulations, geography-specific applicable privacy laws and accreditation standards, and monitor advancements in information privacy technologies to ensure organizational adaptation and compliance

About You

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent education
• Minimum 6 months of prior relevant working experience
• Experience with privacy impact assessment; With knowledge on Data Privacy Practices and Information Security
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with ability to coordinate between technical and business teams.
• Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders at all levels
• Knowledge on relevant data protection and privacy laws and regulations (e.g. PDPA, EU GDPR, and Privacy Shield) and industry standards and frameworks, such as GAPP and BCR
• Ability to efficiently understand client organizations and their business model and to tailor relevant processes to privacy requirements
• An analytical mindset, and demonstrated ability to work in a result-oriented environment
