Description
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dishwashing areas.
- Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, and utensils.
- Assist in food preparation and ingredient organization.
- Dispose of waste appropriately and manage recycling efforts.
- Support kitchen staff in various tasks to ensure efficient operations.
- Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
Requirements
- Experience Level: Less than 1 year of experience in a kitchen or stewarding role preferred.
- Skills and Competencies: Attention to details, strong written and verbal communication, knowledge of kitchen hygiene, and discretion in handling sensitive information.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, assist in food prep, ensure adherence to hygiene standards, and support kitchen staff.
- Working Conditions: Fast-paced environment, standing for long periods, and working with various kitchen equipment.
- Qualities and Traits: Team player, reliable, organized, and proactive in problem-solving.
