Responsibilities

  • Issue PCards from the current PCard provider in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Increase or decrease limits on PCards.
  • Close PCards.
  • Conduct weekly audits on outstanding cards against the current termination report.
  • Resolve any card issues that internal customers might encounter.
  • Prepare month-end journal entries related to PCards, Travel, and Purchase Orders.
  • Prepare month-end account reconciliations of assigned accounts.
  • Act as a point of contact for any PCard-related questions or issues.
  • Track and assist in regulatory compliance, including US GAAP and IFRS regulations.
  • Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
  • Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
  • Ensure financial security by following internal controls and policies.
  • Answer accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policies and regulations.
  • Maintain customer and management confidence by keeping financial information confidential.
  • Assist in internal and external audit processes.
  • Assist with external reporting, including but not limited to monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and project work as directed by management.
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing additional tasks as needed.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • 3-5 years of accounting experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business is a plus.
  • Basic understanding and ability to apply US GAAP.
  • Strong analytical skills and curiosity.
  • Advanced Excel skills and some SQL knowledge.
  • Familiarity with accounting systems like NetSuite, Coupa, and CitiManager is a plus.
