ROLE STATEMENT

This is a junior role ideal for those with one to two years of experience. This person will be trained to perform

testing and assessment of client software applications on a range of computer platforms, operating

systems, software products and peripherals. The person performing this role works under close supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE:

Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent

Basic knowledge of the software development lifecycle

Basic knowledge of software testing methodologies:

• Can explain what System Testing is

• Can explain what Integration Testing is

• Can explain what Acceptance Testing is

• Can explain the difference between black box and white box testing

• Can explain the difference between customer service and customer experience

EXPERIENCE

• As a guide it is expected that the person performing this role has 0-2 years’ experience

• Experience using and an interest in a range of technologies

• Customer service experience is desirable
